Oral Contraceptive Pill

We can renew your oral contraceptive prescription in the pharmacy, saving you a trip to the GP, if you:

  • are aged between 18 to 35 years (inclusive)
  • are taking a low-risk oral contraceptiveĀ pill for contraception purposesĀ (to prevent unplanned pregnancy)
  • have taken the pill continuously for two years, as prescribed by a doctor (GP) or nurse practitioner


Note: Only selected oral contraceptive medicines can be supplied by a pharmacist without a prescription from the GP. Other criteria may apply.
