Slide the floss into the gaps between your teeth using a gentle sawing motion until you reach the gumline. Carefully guide the floss up and down against the tooth surface on both sides of the gum “triangle” until you feel a slight resistance from the gum. Rinse as necessary.

Important Information

The Australian Dental Association recommends flossing at least once every day. Regular plaque removal is an important part of a good oral hygiene routine, helping to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath. Brushing with a toothbrush alone twice per day is not enough to keep the areas between your teeth clean and plaque-free.
